PLEASE NOTE: This guarantee is made to you by NATIONWIDE CRANE TRAINING, and not the NCCCO.

We are flexible to your schedule, knowing that time is money. With this in mind, we are able to do weekend classes & tests, which frees up the work week for work so you do not lose any money. We do have the most competitive prices!! We try to maintain a pricing plan that is 20% lower in comparison to other training providers. We also provide better rates for groups of 5, 10, 15, and over 20. The more candidates that participate, the lower the rates.

We also encourage those interested to solicit other individuals and companies to enroll in your Prep Class, and YOU will receive a $100 per person "FINDERS FEES" {whether it is paid to an individual or to a company - or a reduction in your costs}.

BASIC INFORMATION

Typically we will arrange to host a class at various locations around the United States. Sometimes we have a group of operators from one company, several companies, a group of individuals, or a combination of all. The minimum number of candidates in a prep course is 5. We test the candidates on their equipment that they are familiar with, at their facility. This gives the candidates a little advantage when taking the practical exams. If there is no crane available or if it is individuals needing to get their practicals on a crane, we will rent a crane. Typically we do a 2, 3 or 4 day written exam prep class. The day after the class is typically scheduled for the actual NCCCO written exams. Depending on the number of candidates, we will either do the practicals every day after class {day light permitting}, after the written exams, additional days or a combination of any of those scenarios.

WRITTEN EXAM PREP COURSE INFORMATION

We provide a 2 day {or a 3 or 4 day if necessary} cram course for the preparation of the written exams. The major difference between the 2 day versus the 3 or 4 day courses, is that the 3 or 4 day course is at a slower pace, and focuses on the areas that the candidates maybe struggling with. This Prep Class is a cram session, and is usually scheduled prior to the exam {the exam being on the last day}. Not only will candidates pass the NCCCO written exams, but they will also have a better understanding of cranes operations and limitations, but most of all, they will have a better attitude and respect towards crane safety.

The class typically will consist of experienced operators and inexperienced operators, as well as individuals and groups. Some candidates will be testing in one specialty, or 4 specialties. The class is tailored for all candidates, and we never leave any of the candidates behind. The instructors are able to maintain their focus on each candidate. We do not hold the candidates hand through out the class, and just give them answers. Instead, we encourage them to be self sufficient, and we promptly quiz them on what they learned.

The first day or first half of the class room time covers the core exam materials, which consist of crane set-up, operation and safety. The Core Exam consists of 90 questions, which the candidate must pass with a 70% or better.

The second day or second half of the class room time covers the specialty exams, which covers load charts. The Specialty Exam consists of 26 questions, 17 which are basic core questions, and 9 load chart questions. The candidate must pass with a 70% or better.

PRACTICAL EXAM INFORMATION

Each candidate must pass both the written and the practicals for all specialties that they wish to be certified on. Both the written and the practicals must be completed within one year of each other. If more than a years time lapses, the candidate will be required to retest both the written and / or practical. Our Practical examiners will come to your site, lay out the practical exam course, and administer the practical exam per specialty. We can also give practice time on the cranes. During this practice time, we train candidates on proper techniques in leveling the crane, catching the load, and other safety topics.
